Although we don’t know a lot about the much anticipated Series 4 TiVo (include what TiVo plans on calling it). What we do know is that there’s a number of features/capabilities that TiVo should incorporate into their next hardware release. That being said, Justin Mecham has published an excellent Series 4 wishlist of features he’d like to see in a Series 4 DVR.
I tend to agree with all the features that Justin has listed. At the top of my list is the ability to schedule a recording on any of my DVRs using TiVo’s multi-room capabilities. Along with this feature, I would love to see a full QWERTY keyboard incorporated in to the TiVo remote so that we don’t have to “hunt and peck” whenever we need to use the on screen keyboard. Last but not least, I think it would be great if TiVo would release an updated UI.
Enough about what I’d like to see. What features/new capaiblities would you like to see in a Series 4 DVR?
