TiVo’s Vice President of User Experience Design (Margret Schmidt) recently Tweeted that TiVo would like to hire a Flash expert. According to the job description, TiVo is looking for an individual who has experience with developing large complex embedded Flash applications.
TiVo designs and develops Flash Lite applications. It’s all about balancing user experience, technical capability and time-to-market. Easy? No, but we make it look that way for our customers. If you’ve shipped large and complex Flash applications (preferably on an embedded system), we’d like to talk to you.
Your guess is as good as mine however, this job description has me wondering if TiVo has plans to incorporate Flash into a new UI. What do you think? Does this sound like a plausible idea?
